Battery supply at BTS or Tower is an initiative aimed at increasing operational efficiency and service availability in cellular networks. In this project, batteries used to provide backup power to cellular network equipment are replaced periodically with new or recharged batteries. The purpose of a battery swap is to ensure that the batteries used in a backup system have sufficient power to support normal operations and provide reliable power backup in emergency situations or power outages. The swap process is usually carried out by a team of trained technicians and is carried out according to a scheduled maintenance schedule or when necessary based on the condition and performance monitoring of the battery. By carrying out regular battery swap projects, grid operators can ensure consistent power availability, reduce the risk of service interruptions, and maintain high quality of service for their customers.
